There is no universally superior choice. Someone who sweats relatively little but wants to control odour may be comfortable with a deodorant. What do many conventional deodorants and antiperspirants contain?

“Conventional” is a very broad category. It does not describe a single formula, nor does it mean that a product is unsafe. Formulas may contain alcohols, humectants, emollients, silicones, fragrances, preservatives, antimicrobial agents, absorbent powders and—when an antiperspirant effect is required—aluminium salts.

Aluminium salts
